It's my opinion that filters are making our body as an object that needs to be decorated, so something purely aesthetic.
The FYIlters serie was created with the purpose of making people think about this action which I believe is becoming an automatization for us. Why are we acting like this? It seems to me that the focus is on our appearance and not on our essence as human beings. Is that image honestly representing us?
On one hand “Who are you?” tries to make people think and answer the question: are we still humans or just toys to decorate?
On the other hand “Fake Real” filter attempts to remind people that there is also something inside their head and not just over their faces.
